2019 Riesling Cuvée Colette Domaine Weinbach Magnum

Organic Riesling, derived from a selection of maximally ripe grapes from a cluster of plots located below the Grand Cru Schlossberg vineyard in Alsace. Until the 2013 vintage, the cuvée was called Cuvée Sainte Catherine after the saint Sainte Catherine, who is celebrated on 25 November, and it is typically on this late date that the grapes for cuvée are harvested (normally harvesting begins at the end of September in Alsace). In memory of Colette Faller, the cuvée has changed its name from the 2014 vintage. The golden wine possesses a big, smoky bouquet of exotic fruit and minerals. The flavour is bold and very concentrated, and the intensity of flavour is incredible. An untamed Riesling!
