Winkelberg Spätburgunder

Ihringer Winklerberg is one of the best vineyards in Kaiserstuhl.

The climate provides ideal growing conditions for the vines. The intense sunlight and optimally ventilating winds ensure a dry microclimate. The weathered volcanic rock does its part by storing heat during the day and releasing it to the vines at night.

The 117-hectare vineyard is located about 50 km north of Basel and forms the southern foot of the Kaiserstuhl. The vineyards lie at an altitude of 200-280 m above sea level and face south, southeast and west.
