Poulsard
Made from old vines of the local Poulsard grape variety. The grape is as difficult to grow as Pinot Noir but is worth the effort. The resulting wine has a big personality, bright red colour and intense aromas of strawberries and roses. The flavour almost vibrates with energy, pure fruit and nice freshness. Despite its bright colour and aromas, the wine has a nice structure that makes it a superb food wine - preferably served slightly chilled.
