With microscopic vineyards among the best vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Madame Gaganrd-Delagrange creates extremely elegant world-class, fine and mineral wines. Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru ranks among the world's best white wines. The vineyard is located on the most clayey and chalky part - just below Le Montrachet itself (the most iconic white wine vienyard on the planet - the "bald mountain", Mont Rachet) with a soil mainly composed of gravel and brown stones. The golden wine offers freshly churned butter, ripe apples, white flowers and straw. It is an intense wine that will indulge your taste buds (and haunt them, as almost nothing comes close to this wine).
