    Ballot Millot has worked hard on their small plot of 1st Cru Morgeot Tête de Clos. The plot was neglected when they took it over but their hard work has paid off and the wine is incredibly expressive, with great body and richness, balanced by the necessary freshness and acidity.

    Chassagne-Montrachet is known for making some of the world's best and most sought-after white wines. Located in the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne, along with Puligny-Montrachet and Merusault, make up the golden threesome behind the world's most sought-after white wines.

    The area is home to the southernmost Grand Cru parcels in all of Burgundy, as well as a number of eminent 1. Cru parcels. Chassagne-Montrachet is known to be slightly softer and more fleshy in style than Puligny.

The palate is very well-balanced with good depth, hints of tangerine and nectarine and a precise, fresh finish. This will not require too much time in bottle and will be difficult to resist in its youth.
