2017 Vallado Douro Red Quinta do Vallado

Vallado Douro Red comes mainly from young vines (80%) and the remaining 20% from very old vines, some over 70-years-old. The wine has mainly fermented and aged in steel tanks, except for a small part of the wine from the old vines which is barrel fermented and barrel aged. Made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousao and Vinhas Velhas grapes. It is a very aromatic and fresh wine with hints of violet on the nose, well structured and powerful with round tannins and a long elegant aftertaste.
